As an investor, I am a co-founder and managing partner of Terran Holding Company, LLC, which focuses on Class B multi-family investments, and a venture partner with Strategic Ventures, which focuses on early-stage investments in impactful companies.

A life-long programmer, maker, and technology enthusiast, Chris is an expert in the field of embedded electronics with exposure to hardware design with 20 years of professional experience both as an independent consultant, and working at Microsoft Corporation, OpenDesign Inc, and The Wendt Agency.

ASH MORROCCO PRODUCTION MANAGER
Ashford is a long time technology enthusiast who loves finding solutions for complicated problems.
Previously that passion was channeled into a career in tech support and hardware repair but now he is delighted to be helping WAVE deploy its lifesaving technology.
He currently lives in Newtown with his partner Finn under the authority of their cat, Dennis.

RALPH BERNABEI SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Ralph is a retired programmer with over 40 years of coding experience until deciding to join the WAVE team.
Prior to retirement he worked for IBM designing and building mortgage banking applications. Ralph also has coding experience in a number of industries including Consumer Products, Finance, Insurance, Retail, Telecommunications, and Real Estate.
Ralph has a BS in Computer Information Systems and an MBA with a concentration in Quantitative Studies.
Ralph spends his free time traveling with his family.

ANDREW SINCLAIR SALES ENGINEER
Andrew spent over a decade at a large financial institution handling technology operations, integration, and security for specialized teams and general users alike. He also has extensive experience in training and media production and enjoys putting those worlds together to help people have the best possible experience with their tech.
Outside of WAVE, Andrew is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys exploring the woods and lakes of New England with his wife and their dogs. He is also an aviation enthusiast, currently working on his private and glider certificates and hoping to add “aircraft builder” to his bio in the future. He first heard about WAVE thru his local maker space, where he helps out with development and planning.

GERALD DWORKIN
Gerald M. Dworkin (Gerry) is a professional Aquatics Safety & Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources, LLC and is the author of the "Lifeguard Competition Guidebook", the "Professional Aquatics Safety Seminar Guidebook", the "Water Rescue Course Guidebook", and the "Ice Rescue Course Guidebook" (published by Lifesaving Resources) and "CPR for Infants and Children" (published by the Child Welfare League of America).
Gerry has an extensive background in Aquatics Safety, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, EMS, and Public Safety and Rescue. Along with his textbooks, he has written and published over 40 articles, and has consulted in over 300 drowning and aquatic injury litigation cases as either a Plaintiff or Defense Forensics Expert. He's appeared as a guest on the TODAY SHOW, CBS NEWS, and others.

MAUREEN SCINTO
Maureen has been the aquatics director for the Fairfield, Connecticut YMCA for over 25 years, and was recognized for her community service by the governor of Connecticut, Dan Malloy, in 2015.
Maureen has been a long-time strong advocate of aquatic safety and supports technology as a preventative and useful tool for lifeguards.

BOBBY HACKETT
Born in Yonkers, New York, Bob is a swimming legend. His specialty? Distance freestyle. At just 16 years old, he represented Team USA at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, Canada, where he won a Silver Medal in the men's 1,500 meter freestyle breaking the world record along with his teammate Brian Goodell for a 1-2 finish for the Americans.
In addition to his Olympic success, Bob is 1975 Pan American Games champion in the 1,500 meter freestyle and 1978 World Championships in the 4x200 freestyle relay. He set World Records in the 800 meter freestyle in 1976, and as a member of the 4x200 freestyle relay in 1978.
Today, Bob remains on the swimming leaderboard. He continues to hold one of the oldest records in the National Age Groups official ranking of US Swimmers under age 19. 43 years and counting!
More recently, Bob joined the Swimming and Diving coaching staff for the Emory University Eagles, a top-performing NCAA Div III Team.

JAIMIE CLOUT
Jaimie has an extensive background in Aquatics. Beginning with her career as a waterfront lifeguard in 1999. In 2010, Jaimie took on an Aquatic Director position managing Cornerstone Aquatic Center in West Hartford, CT. During her time at Cornerstone, the facility received the “Best Indoor Family Aquatic Center” award from Aquatics International Magazine. Jaimie’s staff was also credited for saving the life of a patron who collapsed in the facility.
Having spent over twelve years as an emergency responder and over a decade with the Red Cross as a lifeguard instructor trainer, public safety has been her passion. Jaimie holds a degree in science from Charter Oak State College and has recently earned her CPRP certification in the Parks and Recreation field. She has been designated as an AqP the highest recognition as an aquatic professional. Currently she sits on the CRPA Aquatics Committee and is the Aquatic Supervisor for the City of Bristol, CT.

STEVEN BERNSTEIN
Steven and his wife, Brooke, and the Owners/Directors of Camp North Star in Poland Spring, Maine. Steven is a veteran camp professional having spent the last 18 years directing residential and day camps in Maine and Pennsylvania.
He currently serves as Vice-President of the Keystone Region of the American Camp Association, is a frequent speaker at summer camp conferences and is a contributor to Expert Online Training which provides summer camps and park & rec programs with staff training tools and resources.

GARY JOHNSON

Awarded the "Excellence in Aquatic Safety by an Individual" as part of the 2017 National Aquatic Industry Safety Awards, Gary began his career as a surf life saver in Sydney, Australia.
Working as a young lifeguard, in 2001 Gary’s life changed when a toddler tragically drowned at the facility where he worked. From this came his Pool Super Vision program, where Gary has focused his life on making aquatic facilities a safer place.
Gary’s experience with emergency planning, training and response then benefited from two decades as a Pool Lifeguard, a Rescue Crewman with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a soldier in the Australian Army Reserve.

ALEX MEYER
Alexander Meyer is a former American competition swimmer who specialized in open water and long-distance swimming. He won a gold medal at the 2010 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships in the 25-kilometer open water event.
The tragic drowning death of his friend and fellow competitive swimmer, Fran Crippen, during an open water event has made Alex deeply passionate about aquatic safety.

VIHAN J. | BUSINESS ANALYST INTERN
A detail-oriented individual and an entrepreneur, Vihan is pursuing degrees in Economics and Government at Dartmouth College.
His academic and business background has equipped him with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by hands-on experience in financial analysis and project management.
Outside of WAVE, Vihan enjoys biking, practicing the cello, and playing badminton.

DAVE CUTLER
Dave is an award-winning Connecticut-based inventor, entrepreneur, designer & illustrator. His invention, iSwimband®, won best new product at the 2014 Int’l Pool Spa Patio Expo, the year it was first launched.
Dave has been involved in the use of technology to prevent drowning for over a decade, starting when his daughter's classmate drowned despite several lifeguards and camp counselors watching over swimmers that day. In 2014 Dave received a Community Lifesaver Award from the National Drowning Prevention Alliance.
Dave has overseen all areas of company building including product design & development, manufacturing, marketing, design and branding. He has been interviewed on ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS’ This Morning Show, NPR, Philadelphia’s TODAY Show, and others regarding his products.

LORRAINE ORR
Ms. Orr serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. She leads field services and activities across the Boys & Girls Club Movement, with a focus on strengthening the capacity and sustainability of Clubs. She is also responsible for the Movement-wide advancement of youth and Club metrics; programs; and child safety and protection strategies. In addition, she oversees leadership development for Clubs and BGCA national staff.
Lorraine also provides direct support, counsel, information, input and feedback to the National Area Council Committee. She drives significant national partnerships to advance BGCA’s mission, and works closely with other senior leaders to develop and execute key strategies and initiatives that drive organizational objectives.
