Regional Sales Managers directs WAVE Systems client experience from initial contact to system delivery. Sales Rep will have direct influence on overall Go-To-Market commercial momentum and profitability. Sales Managers will execute lead/demand generation programs and contract with clients and be responsible for direct sales revenue. Importantly WAVE Sales Managers will embody and represent the WAVE brand image and will reinforce the messaging of “cool, trusted, swimmer safety”.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Quota carrying Sales Manager that provide lead generation, pre-sales, system delivery, system setup and training support. Typical lead generation and pre-sales activities included within this critically important sales role include the following:

Lead Generation Activities:

• Outbound calling/prospecting: marketing campaigns, targeted contact list sales campaigns

• Manage inbound customer leads

• Lead qualification appointment/demo setting and execution

• Prospect list and contact list management

• HubSpot pipeline management

• Drive conference and/or trade show prospect lead generation

• Market/customer/competitive research to support RFP identification

• Nurture and keep leads “warm”

• Follow-up and close out “stalled” leads

• Post event or trade show follow up

• Installed customer nurturing for up-sale opportunities, expansion and referrals

 

Education and Experience Qualifications

• Candidate for College Degree or College Graduate

• Technology Sales Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience

• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred

• Aquatics industry/pool management knowledge

• Experience in competitive water sports and/or lifeguarding

• Knowledge of local aquatics community

• Experience in startups or similar dynamic situations. Resourcefulness to figure stuff out and get it done without the resources and time normally required.

• New product category experience – sold products that defined a whole new product category.

DEPLOYMENT ENGINEER 

 

WAVE Drowning Prevention Systems is seeking a motivated and versatile Deployment Engineer to join our tight and innovative team. We make an easy to use, cutting-edge swimmer safety and lifeguard monitoring system, with active deployments around the globe. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about technology, customer service, and ensuring the safety of others.

 

Location: Hybrid, but mostly remote. Our factory is in Norwalk, CT, but we have team members spread across the US. You'll be expected to come to headquarters as needed and to be able to travel easily around the U.S.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Deploy and configure WAVE's proprietary swimmer safety and lifeguard monitoring systems at customer sites.

  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting during deployments.

  • Collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless integration of our IoT solutions.

  • Relay customer feedback back to and work with product management and marketing to help direct and improve our products, marketing, and training information.

  • Conduct training sessions for non-technical customers on system operation and maintenance.

  • Handle customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and a customer-first mindset.

  • Organize and maintain inventory of WAVE deployment equipment and components.

  • Navigate ordering systems and logistics for efficient procurement and deployment of WAVE systems.

  • Travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites for installations and support.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in SMB networking and WiFi setup and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with electronics assembly or repair.

  • Strong customer service skills, especially troubleshooting, communication, and empathy.

  • A calm demeanor in stressful situations.

  • Experience working with a Linux CLI and remote services.

  • Experience working with Google Workspaces (formerly G Suite).

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that may require standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.

  • Enjoys learning and actively explores new technologies.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.

 

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working with inventory management systems.

  • Familiarity with logistics coordination for equipment deployment.

  • Programming or scripting experience.

  • Relevant certifications in networking, network security, Linux, and electronics.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the IoT or technology industry, or experience at an MSP.

Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Tech Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in assembling components for equipment, network support and technical customer support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in network infrastructure and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure, architecture, connectivity, and security.

·  Provide technical support to customers, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our WAVE ecosystem, including hubs, wearables, accessories, and inter-connectivity.

·  Utilize Hubspot and other ticketing systems to manage and track customer support requests.

·  Document technical processes, solutions, and best practices.

·  Support the IT team with operational tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

·  Education, training, or experience as a network support technician or technical customer support representative.

·  In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, architecture, connectivity, and security.

·  Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

·  Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

·  Positive “can-do” attitude and sense of urgency.

·  Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.

·  Experience with Hubspot, Hubspot ticketing systems, or similar is a plus.

On-boarding Process:

·  On-site visit to our Norwalk, Connecticut factory and operations to gain hands-on understanding of our processes.

·  Field visit with the Sales Team to a customer location for real-world experience.

·  Comprehensive understanding of the WAVE ecosystem, including hubs, wearables, accessories, and their inter-connectivity.

·  Training on all WAVE support resources/tools and internal software programs.

·  Familiarization with company policies and procedures.

The Position

 

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with other executives, the Operations Coordinator will be a pivotal part of helping WAVE scale-up its operations. The role is full-time and requires being in the office in Norwalk, CT on average at least 4 days/week (for an average of at least 5 hours/day), with work-from-home filling in the rest.

 

The role requires developing an understanding of how the company works at an executive and department level and fostering productive working relationships throughout the company.

 

More specifically, this person will:

  • Support data operations and analysis for departments in Norwalk (technical operations and customer service) and elsewhere (sales and marketing).

  • Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of materials and supplies.

  • Assist CEO and Controller with cost analysis and budgeting,

  • Assist CEO with scheduling and travel 

  • Plan and execute company events, meetings, and team-building activities

  • Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records

  • Perform basic bookkeeping (QuickBooks), expense accounts and payroll

  • Manage office/production environment, including relationship with landlord and third-party service providers

 

The Candidate

 

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, capable of handling a variety of operational and administrative tasks. They will also be a self-starter with the resourcefulness to figure out what needs to be done and the wherewithal to get it done efficiently with minimal resources. 

 

In addition, this individual must possess many, if not all, of the following:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Intermediate data analysis and spreadsheet skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with the Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs)

  • Experience with HubSpot

  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Unquestionable professional and personal integrity
